Centro Linguistico Cesena was founded in 1976 as a school specialized in the teaching of foreign languages, like English, German and French.

In the early 90’s, the introduction of additional languages like Spanish, Portuguese and Russian into the school’s programme represented a response to the latest market demands, an answer consistent with our Centre’s professional and serious approach to language teaching. Centro Linguistico is currently offering courses of Chinese, Japanese and Arabic language on demand.

All our courses have been modelled in accordance with the standards set by the European Framework of Reference for Languages, which provides a basis for the mutual recognition of language qualifications. Our Centre’s mission is to promote and enhance the knowledge and appreciation of foreign languages and cultures at all levels, ranging from children’s to post-graduate courses, including training and refresher courses for public and private school teachers.

Our method is based on communication: in other words, it is a rational method where foreign languages are approached first through conversation, followed by a grammatical and syntactic analysis of newly learned contents.
Our courses are held by specialized mother tongue and bilingual instructors, chosen for their extensive background in various areas of study, like history, literature, training, economic studies, business and tourism. Their valuable collaboration and professional approach have helped our Centre become a successful language institute with a wide range of customers, including individual students and businesses alike.
